The Monticello Central School District is the largest of the eight school districts in Sullivan County and has a very diverse population. The district is known for curriculum and technological innovation and continuous advancement towards excellence.
The district prides itself on offering a comprehensive program of academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. Additionally, the district offers courses through SUNY Sullivan, Syracuse University’s Project Advance and Sullivan BOCES.

Founded by conductor-harpsichordist-musicologist Kenneth Hamrick in 1992, American Virtuosi Inc. is a New York City – based research, education and performance company that creates vocal and instrumental productions which bring together music, drama, and dance in new formats. By combining the Baroque aesthetics’ quest for exoticism and human expressiveness with modern theatrical sensibilities, the company supplies a fresh and relevant reexamination of style to a range of repertory, from medieval to contemporary. American Virtuosi is dedicated to training young musicians in Baroque performance practice and educating new audiences to the relevance of the Baroque aesthetic philosophy of diversity and inclusiveness.
