SCCO and NCA present “A Madrigal Feaste” at St. John’s Episcopal Church (7pm seating)

Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra (SCCO) and students from Nesin Cultural Arts (NCA) will present “A Madrigal Feaste” at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Monticello. This form of comedic dinner theater set in the Middle Ages will include a Renaissance style meal divided into courses, each of which is heralded by a traditional song. Dinner is included with ticket purchase. The audience will hear Renaissance instruments including a performance by renowned lutenist, Christopher Morrongiello.

Joining the SCCO musicians will be additional featured artists in collaboration with students of NCA’s Aspiring Young Musicians, Children’s Choirs, Dance and Visual Arts programs. The interactive celebration of the Holiday Season will feature Jared Goldstein and Marina Lombardi as Lord and Lady of Monticello Manor and David Trombley and Lori Orestano-James as Lord and Lady Chamberlain. There will also be a craft fair for guests to view and purchase items by local vendors.

The dinner is a poultry meal (vegetarian option also available) served with seasonal vegetables, Wassail punch and the traditional flaming Christmas pudding. Wine and ale will also be available.

There will be two performances of “A Madrigal Feaste” on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 4pm and 7pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 15 St. John Street, Monticello, NY.

Seating is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance online or by phone at: 845-798-9006. Tickets are $45 and $25 for Children 14 and under. Children’s tickets are only available by phone.
