Summer Music Academy: August 19-23, 2019 Monticello High School

The Summer Music Academy is a weeklong intensive designed to raise performance level and increase the enjoyment of their personal music making. SMA provides private lessons, small group theory classes and ensemble experiences. Students will perform as soloists and in ensembles along side the faculty in the culminating recital. Students will have their original compositions performed by the faculty. The faculty holds degrees from Juilliard School, Cleveland Institute, Manhattan School of Music and performs regularly with (Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra, Newburgh Symphony, New Haven Symphony, Stamford Symphony, The New York Philharmonic and the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra)

Dates: August 19-23, 2019

Hours: 9:00am-3:30pm

Location: Monticello Central School

Ages: 7 and up

Tuition: $500 (There is substantial merit and need-based scholarship available).

EARLYBIRD $350 if paid in full by April 30, 2019.

Summer Visual Arts Institute: August 20-23, 2018 Monticello High School

The Nesin Cultural Arts Summer Intensive Visual Arts Institute is a 5 day intensive focused on working through artistic ideas, creating and keeping a sketchbook and developing artistic technique. Students learn different drawing, painting and sculpture techniques.  Students will work with instructors Laurie Kilgore, Chris Kilgore and Stephany Lopez.

Dates: August 19-23, 2019

Hours: 9:00am-3:30pm

Ages: 7 and up

Tuition: $500

If you are applying for scholarship, please fill out the scholarship application and send along with a $50 deposit to PO Box 249, Monticello NY 12701. Scholarships are on a first come, first serve basis.
