Integrated Arts Projects

The purpose of the Integrated Arts program is to give musicians, actors, dancers and visual artists a collaborative experience in which the outcome is to experience the style, history and culture. The Institute aims to enhance the performing artist’s skills by supporting his/her main area of study with another art form, and therefore making him/her a more well-rounded and knowledgeable performing artist. The students will be given culturally significant material to work with, engages guest artist support, and culminates with a formal performance. Students work with a faculty member in each of the disciplines: Dance, Music, Theatre/Drama and Visual Arts. They will receive instruction in all art forms and focus on the discipline they choose.

Integrated Arts Programs are a collaboration between students of the Nesin Cultural Arts (Children’s Chorus, Aspiring Young Musicians, Visual Arts, Dance and Stage Craft Programs)
