Amy Phillips, soprano, grew up in a musical family – her brothers are noted violinists in the Orion String Quartet. Ms.  Phillips has performed in operas, concerts and recitals in Pittsburgh and New York.  Locally, Ms. Phillips has sung the roles of Gianetta (“Elixir of Love”) with Delaware Valley Opera and the roles of Anina (“La Traviata”), Sister Marguerite (“Dialogues of the Carmelites”, and La Ciesca (“Gianni Schicchi”) with Hudson Opera Theatre as well as in the chorus for both companies. In addition, Ms. Phillips has served as the Children’s Chorus Director for DelawareValley Opera and Hudson Opera Theatre .  She holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Indiana University and a Master’s Degree from SUNY New Paltz. Miss Phillips is a proud member of the Monticello Central School District music faculty.
